Date: October 15, 2020 The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Wednesday approved Regeneron's drug Inmazep as the first drug approved by the administration to treat Ebola virus infection in adults and children. Belmazip is a mixture of three monoclonal antibodies. The administration said that the drug was tested on 382 patients, adults and children, who tested positive for Ebola virus of the Zaire strain in a clinical trial.
