Allowing a diabetic to fast the holy month of Ramadan must be based on foundations and studies

Diabetics are divided into three groups in terms of the danger of fasting

First: High-risk patients who have one or more of the following conditions: 1- Severe hypoglycemia during the three months preceding Ramadan 2- Ketoacidosis during the three months preceding Ramadan 3- Hyperosmotic coma during the three months preceding Ramadan 4- Recurrent hypoglycaemia 5- Lack of awareness Hypoglycemic episodes 6- A poorly controlled first type 7- Acute diseases 8- Pregnancy 9- Renal failure on dialysis or degree 4, 510- Advanced major vascular complications 11- Elderly people with poor health status God and you have reached the month of Ramadan and we are in the best condition
