The answer is for Professor Oldenburg, Head of the Department of Hematology at the University of Bonn in Germany.
There is no objection to taking the AstraZenka vaccine in the event that a person has any diseases or factors that predispose to clotting.
The reason is that the state of coagulation that occurs after taking the vaccine has a different mechanism than other coagulation cases. It is a very rare condition and is based on the principle of an immune reaction and the formation of antibodies (similar to the antibodies that form on heparin) that cause activation and aggregation of blood platelets with each other and form clots.
This means that taking the vaccine has nothing to do with other and common cases of clotting, and therefore it does not prevent the person from giving the Astrazynx vaccine except in two cases:
First. Thrombocytopenia syndrome caused by antibodies to heparin II. The patient previously suffered from the formation of cerebral sinus thrombosis.
